Noam Scheiber covers workers for The New York Times. Before that, he covered economic policy and three presidential campaigns for The New Republic. His first book, “The Escape Artists,” was an inside account of Barack Obama’s response to The Great Recession. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Oxford and lives in Evanston, Illinois.
